Pro: Sistemazione impeccabile nel cuore di Ortigia, fornita di tutti i servizi desiderabili e resa ancora più godibile dall'accoglienza e dalla precisione dell'host.

Pro: Location was excellent! Lucia was very easy to communicate with and when we had an issue with hot water she arranged for it to be fixed immediately. Apartment was clean and perfect for a couple!

Contro: There are 59 steps up to the apartment so not good for someone with limited mobility or issues with stairs. The shower was hand held over a bath you had to step down into the bath, also another consideration for staying here. This aside our stay here was amazing!

Loved our stay at Casa Barone. The location is just perfect.

Pro: Fantastic location with lovely views. The roof terrace is a real bonus.

Pro: The location was great and had an excellent view of the Apollo Temple site

Contro: Access to the bedroom downstairs wasn’t ideal and the living room would be better with some comfortable couch and chairs rather than double bunks, but overall we enjoyed our stay.

Excellent location to enjoy beautiful Ortigia

Pro: Perfect location with beautiful views of Ortigia. The apartment was spacious and clean, with lots of light in the main living area and kitchen. Comfortable with all amenities provided, including kettle in the kitchen. Welcome bottle of wine, water and juice cartons in the fridge, and breakfast items, was a very nice gesture. Great roof terrace at the top of the building. We didn’t use it much as ours was a short visit, but fantastic to have this extra space to use. Also a very good bar below on the street for breakfast or other food during the day, very friendly staff.

Contro: Bathroom was quite basic and the shower door was broken so had to be careful that water didn’t splash out, but we managed fine. Lots of steps to the top floor of the building, which we knew about, but in the hot weather this could be difficult for some people.

Pro: Modern comfortable lovely apartment. Our room was in the top floor so we had a lot of steps to climb but we had ocean views from both angles. Air conditioning was perfect and our welcome bottle of wine was very kind form our lovely host

Contro: A few too many steps to carry my heavy suitcase but worth it

Great location, beautiful apartment

Pro: Beautiful apartment. Spotlessly clean. Lovely welcome from the owner with helpful welcome pack and great communication. Location great and the coffee bar beneath was great for breakfast and post dinner drink. Loads of places to eat and drink locally. Lovely city/town to wander round. Would thoroughly recommend Casa Barone.

Excellent stay. Enjoyed the walking the streets, dining and did some scuba/free diving as well

Pro: Great location with a rooftop terrace and lots of activities on the street below. For the street market and Temple of Apollo. Close to the Ionian Sea.

Contro: Shower a little small. However, that seems to be the trend in Europe.
