Pro: La signora Antonella, davvero gentile. L’appartamento è davvero grazioso. Mi mancherà tanto sono sicura che appena posso ritornerò. Quella finestra che affaccia sul mare davvero indimenticabile.

Contro: Purtroppo ad Ortigia è impossibile parcheggiare se non in un parcheggio. Ma questo con l’appartamento non c’entra nulla Solo che è un po’ scomodo e stressante. Del resto posizione ottima per il centro.

Pro: Ospite eccezionale. Quando si è rotta la mocca, Antonella è venuta a portarmene una nuova. Exceptional host. When the coffee maker broke, Antonella came to bring me a new one. Eine außergewöhnliche Gastgeberin. Als die Kaffeemaschine kaputt ging, kam Antonella extra vorbei, um mir eine neue zu bringen.

A great base from which to explore Ortigia and Syracuse

Pro: Location superb, with sea view. Antonella was welcoming, responsive and helpful. Apartment was spotlessly clean, with air con and comfortable bed. Two minutes walk to the heart of the lovely Guidecca area of Ortigia. A 5 minute walk to the nearest place where it's possible to swim.

Contro: Morning traffic quite noisy (but our visit conncuded with G7 Expo). We'd have loved a small electric kettle and/or a cafetiere but we know this isn't the Sicilian way...

Such a lovely place to stay beside the sparkling sea in a wonderful traditional home.

Pro: Fantastic homely apartment in old town, within easy atmospheric walk of the beautiful old town, wonderful restaurants and directly beside the sea. Excellent equipment for self-catering travellers . Close to the beautiful Sicilian coast as well as to all local and regional transport and a really helpful host.

Pro: The location was excellent. I couldn't have asked for better. The host was a lovely person and was very friendly and helpful. There was a bottle of water in the fridge and a coffee pot and coffee which was a really nice start. The building in which the apartment is located was a very nice old building. The apartment has a separate door opening onto the street beside the sea which was a great advantage because we could enter and exit without having to go through the main entrance where renovations were taking place. There was a nice sea view from the bedroom and if you left the window open you could hear the waves rolling in. Overall it was a really nice experience staying here.

Contro: I enjoyed my stay but the overall experience could be improved with minor changes. The interior was dark because of small windows, the interior furnishings could be updated to add a brighter look and atmosphere to the accommodation. Plain white curtains and bed linen could brighten up the bedroom. The old style table cloth gave a dated look in the kitchen. The accommodation is a good size, but unnecessary furniture makes it look and feel smaller than it actually is. There was building work going in the main building which is most likely out of the control of the host but we were not made aware of this in advance when we booked. However, we worked around this and it did not spoil our stay it was nice to see that there are improvements being made to the main building.

Would definitely come back to location and accommodation

Wondering location very sweet space

Pro: I loved the apartment with the sea view just across the street from the water. Loved waking up walking across the street with my coffee and having a morning swim. Thank you!

Pro: Sujuva yhteydenpito ja joustava sekä erittäin mukava omistaja. Asunto oli upea ja sijainti aivan täydellinen! Mikään ei olisi voinut olla paremmin!

Pro: Fajne, malutkie mieszkanko w bardzo dobrej lokalizacji. Dobra baza wypadowa do zwiedzania zarówno Ortigia jak i Syrakuzy.

Contro: Bardzo, bardzo mała łazienka.

Szeretnénk visszatérni ide.

Pro: Kiváló elhelyezkedés, barátságos környezet, kedves tulajdonos.

Contro: A fürdőszoba lehetett volna kicsit nagyobb, de természetesen a célnak megfelelt.
