Pro: Posizione comoda per raggiungere a piedi sia i siti archeologici di Siracusa terraferma, sia Ortigia. Appartamento pulito, ben curato e dotato di tutto il necessario per un soggiorno confortevole (cucina attrezzata, prodotti da bagno, giochi per i bambini,…). Le stanze non si affacciano direttamente sullo stradone principale, quindi i rumori sono contenuti. Consigliatissimo!

Pro: I proprietari, Massimo e Mela, sono stati di una gentilezza rara, sempre disponibili a dare buoni consigli. Al nostro arrivo è stato piacevole trovare acqua fresca e un cestino con prodotti locali di benvenuto, cialde di caffè e bustine di tè. L'appartamento, completo di tutto il necessario (sono disponibili anche la lavastoviglie e condizionatori), è ubicato in posizione strategica per visitare Siracusa e Ortigia. La zona è tranquilla e nelle immediate vicinanze si trovano supermercati e bar. Nei dintorni è semplice trovare parcheggio gratuito. Consigliatissimo per una famiglia!

Pro: Clean, tidy, organised small apartment with one bedroom, comfy bed and air con. Loads of room for your clothes etc.Thoughtful touches all around....there's toys for little ones too. Great to have a washing machine. Good position..so near the Interbus bus stop! Loved Ortigia and Syracuse. Near small supermarket and bakery....and lots of bars restaurants. Loved sitting out on balcony.

Contro: We liked everything. A really large person would find the shower difficult.

Pro: Our hosts were very helpful with everything. They arranged a crib and chair for our baby and made our stay pleasant in every way.

A home away from home for my stay in Siracusa

Pro: This is a really nice apartment. Although only one bedroom (which is separate from the living area) it is spacious and very comfortable, with absolutely everything you could need for either a short stay, or in my case for almost 2 weeks. There is a nice, private balcony where you can sit and have breakfast or coffee, or just take in the sun. The apartment is in a great location, close to Corso Gelone, one of the main shopping streets, and only a short walk (10 minutes approx) to Parco Archeologico and the Museum in one direction, and Ortigia in the other. A highlight of my stay was the hosts, who are excellent - before I arrived communication was easy using the Booking.com messaging facility and they always responded very quickly. Once I was there, I found them so welcoming, friendly and helpful. They are very close by, quickly respond to text messages, and are available to help resolve any questions (such as the rubbish collection requirements).

Contro: Having the washing machine in the bathroom takes up a bit of space, but on balance it was better to have it, especially for a longer stay such as mine.
