Overall, it was a great experience and we were very satisfied!

Pro: Anna was incredibly helpful, and it’s definitely worth following her recommendations. She provided us with many restaurant suggestions, as well as a detailed itinerary for exploring Ortigia. Throughout our trip, whenever we had any questions, she responded almost immediately, always with thorough explanations. The accommodation was just as expected – everything was in order, and we were welcomed with lovely little gifts. In short, she was a perfect host, and we want to thank her once again! 🥰 The apartment is located near the market in the old town, making it a perfect base for exploring the area, with the beaches also within walking distance.

Contro: Being close to the market means it can get a bit noisy during certain hours — but it also has a nice, local vibe

Pro: Ciauru d’Amuri is a lovely, light and well equipped apartment in an excellent location, just steps from the market, close to restaurants, cafes and a supermarket and within walking distance of the train station. A great place to stay to walk all around Ortigia and to visit Syracuse. Check in was easy and communication with the host was great, she was very thoughtful and offered lots of fabulous information and recommendations as well as leaving wine and biscuits for our arrival. Great to have a washing machine.

Contro: The set up of the kitchen was not ideal. The cupboards were a bit cramped and the sliding doors made accessing the cooking pots, washing machine and microwave a little difficult. The neighborhood was noisy at night, as to be expected in the centre of an old town, and there was construction work early in the morning. We were not too bothered by it but it’s something to consider if you’re a light sleeper.

Really like - would love to come back some day!

Pro: - appartment is equipped with everything that is needed; - coffee machine and huge coffee supply - ideal for coffee addicted guests (like myself); - welcome set (wine, water, cookies, juice); - self check-in process (with detailed instructions from host); - ultra kind host, Anna, she was supportive in everything!! - I really appreciate that she offered very late check out (which unfortunately I was not able to use due to early flight hour; - location of the appartment - in the heart of Ortigia, just few steps from fish market and sea food restaurants

Contro: - the weather was very rainy - it would be good to have an umbrella for guests (it is not obvious considering usual weather in Sicily :) - again - rain caused that it was not possible to use terrace - any water proof roof would be helpful

Diese Wohnung ist ideal für einen Urlaub zu zweit in der Altstadt von Syrakus.

Pro: Wir hatten einen wundervollen Aufenthalt in der Ferienwohnung in Syrakus. Die Vermieterin war äußerst freundlich und zuvorkommend. Wir wurden frühzeitig und ausführlich über die Ferienwohnung, die Anreise sowie Sehenswürdigkeiten und Restaurants informiert. Die Wohnung ist sehr gut gelegen. Sie liegt direkt in der Altstadt auf der Halbinsel Ortigia, direkt am Markt. Wir konnten dort jeden Tag frische Zutaten wie Obst, Gemüse, Käse, Schinken und Fisch kaufen, sie in der gut ausgestatteten Küche zubereiten und auf der gemütlichen Terrasse genießen. Die Wohnung ist sauber und wirkt sehr gepflegt. Jeder Raum ist klimatisiert. Wir würden die Unterkunft jederzeit für einen Aufenthalt zu zweit in Syrakus weiterempfehlen.

Pro: Ciauru d'Amuri est un endroit idéal pour découvrir Syracuse et Ortigia ! Un bel appartement très agréable et bien équipé. Emplacement de choix : à 2 pas du marché, des restaurants, du supermarché, de tout en somme y compris la gare donc ultra pratique ! Literie au top à souligner et climatisation dans chaque pièce à noter. Anna est vraiment ultra réactive, attentionnée, délicate, elle nous bichonne : petit set de bienvenue (biscuits, vin, eau,...), prises pour les moustiques, accès au lieu très clair (vidéo), enregistrement et récupération des clefs très facile, : exemplaire car on sent que tout est fait et régit pour notre plein bonheur, impression d'aller chez une amie clairement. Et aussi des recommandations bien utiles : lieu à visiter, restau typiques etc..
