Andromeda Apartment

Pro: Alessandro ci ha accolti con sollecitudine e ci ha supportato in tutte le nostre richieste. L'appartamento è pulito, ben tenuto, ben diviso. La doccia grande ed accogliente. La posizione ottima: in 10 minuti a piedi si raggiunge Ortigia e il palazzo si trova quasi all'angolo di C.so Umberto I, ricco di ristoranti e bar.

Contro: Uniche due pecche della casa: la doppia rampa RIPIDISSIMA di scale per raggiungere l'appartamento (sconsiglio fortemente la soluzione a persone anziane o a chi ha problemi motori) e il contesto di via Carini, via piccola e mantenuta (un vero peccato essendo una zona così centrale e comoda, peraltro assolutamente non di responsabilità di Alessandro).

Pro: Hosting gentilissimo e professionale. Casa e posizione ottima

Loved this apartment.

Pro: Great little apartment. Big comfortable bed (not 2 pushed together), really nice bathroom, air con in bedroom and living area both really quiet. Narrow but long balcony with rack to dry clothes on. Coffee machine with pods provided. Really well thought out. Had a problem with the sink and it was sorted out really quickly (next morning).

Contro: Balcony too narrow to sit out, plastic plates and bowls. We were OK with the steps but about 40 stone steps and narrow staircase up to apartment so may not be suitable if you have a baby buggy.

Pro: The newly remodeled flat is in a great location. Our gracious host, Alessandro, gave us a wonderful bottle of Sicilian wine and some regional olive oil.

Pro: Great location, with a nice walk into Ortigia. Host was brilliant and very accommodating, helped us find a parking space. Perfect stay for a few days

Little Gem near the station and within a gentle stroll to the town centre. Recently refurbished.

Pro: The accommodation was close to the train station and the host, Alessando, arranged to meet us at the property. The room was up a couple of flights of stairs, which made us feel secure and burned off some calories. This was a little gem for us to find, somewhere to wind down after the hustle of the town and great valve for the money. It has been recently renovated to a high standard. Our host was great and even left us a bottle of local wine pre chilled in the fridge. The walk into the town centre is down the Main Street a nice leisurely stroll away, with a great bakery literally over the road and supermarket 5min walk away for the accommodation. Air con in the bedroom and in the lounge both really quiet ( we used the one in the lounge at night with the bedroom door open, which worked great ) Shower was great and the bed really comfortable. Everything went as planned. Would stay here again. ( if you like snorkelling, Alessando has speedboat trips, check out Mare con ale boat trips )

Contro: Was happy with everything, even the stairs that have been refurbished in granite.

Pro: Bardzo dobra lokalizacja. Blisko dworca i jednocześnie wyspy Ortigia. Właściciel bardzo pomocny. Mimo centralnego położenia w nocy było cicho. W pobliżu piekarnia i godne polecenia restauracje. Parkowanie na ulicy choć nie łatwe, jest możliwe. Ekspres z zapasem kapsułek. Wygodny materac.

Contro: Przydałoby się uzupełnić lub wymienić wyostrzenie kuchenne. Uwaga, wejście do apartamentu po stromych schodach, może być nieodpowiednia dla osób z problemami z poruszaniem się Dla nas piętro było zaletą.

Pro: Le logement est très bien situé à proximité des bus, ce qui est primordial pour les gens sans voiture.

Pro: Blisko centrum ale bez problemu z parkowaniem. Brudno w okolicy, ale to jak w całej Sycylii. Syrakuzy i tak zdecydowanie lepsze niż Catania.

Contro: Schody do apartamentu są bardzo wysokie i strome.
