Bellissimo esperienza a Siracusa e Ortigia

Pro: Ambiente moderno, pulito e di buon gusto. Host super disponibile. Ottima posizione a piedi per Ortigia e facile parcheggio lungo la strada. Letti super comodi.

Pro: l’appartamento è nuovo, arredato con gusto, pulitissimo e con tutti i comfort! Una menzione speciale va al proprietario che fin da subito si è mostrato accogliente e disponibile e che in un secondo momento, di fronte a un nostro imprevisto, ha mostrato ulteriormente una profonda umanità, offrendoci supporto e assistenza fuori dal comune.

Pro: Central location and easy access to the apartment. The apartment was clean and modern with a great view to the central square of Siracusa. Great beds but outside traffic can be a bit loud.

Contro: The building has no elevator. The bathroom smells a bit of mildew or damp.

A charming very comfortable apartment close to transport hub, restaurants and cafes

Pro: The location was excellent for access to transport, just by the railway station and bus station, but quite a long walk from the interesting parts of the city on Ortigia, or from the Archaeological Park. The apartment was clean modern, fully equipped with dishwasher, stove, microwave and washing machine, and had an efficient air conditioner. Lovely modern bathroom with efficient shower. Welcome snacks were indeed welcome.

Contro: The bedroom was on a mezzanine level within the apartment, while the toilet was on the ground floor at the far end of the apartment, so if a visit to the toilet is required at night, there are stairs. The apartment is on the first floor, and the common areas within the apartment block do not make a good first impression, though all is forgiven after entering this lovely haven. There are not supermarkets close by. Public transport to Ortigia seems a closely-guarded secret, but the SAIS No 6 bus is a treasure that saves tired legs.

Pro: The apartment is furnished beautifully and comes with everything you can wish for (including a beach umbrella!). All perfectly clean, with best preconditions to make the stay in Siracusa wonderful. Also very well located, just a footwalk away from Ortigia, but still in an area where you still find easy parking for your car.

Contro: Only a very little thing: In the nights there is lots of activity on the streets, the windows are well insulated but cannot take that completely. If you're a very sensitive sleeper: bring a set of Oropax for Fridays and Saturdays.
