Casa arredata con gusto e belle ceramiche ad Ortigia

Pro: La posizione è ottima e la casa è arredata con gusto. C'è un salone spazioso con divano e tutto quello che può servire per un breve soggiorno. In generale sembra la casa di qualcuno utilizzata come casa vacanze (probabilmente lo è) e questo può piacere o non piacere.

Contro: In generale le porte sarebbero da rivedere, almeno quella esterna e quella a soffietto del bagno. La doccia era molto piccola. È sempre un po' strano trovare una casa dove le lenzuola e gli asciugamani si pagano a parte.

Pro: everything was ok. very kind host, the place is close to the city center. I highly recommend!

Pro: Lovely home. The bed was super comfortable. Very central.

Pro: Perfect location, cozy apartment.There is even an electric wheelchair for the disabled to climb the stairs

Ubytování Ortigie

Pro: Zajištění ubytování na poslední chvíli v perfektním stavu, snadná komunikace, předání klíče ve schránce. Být v historickém centru Ortigie u supermarketu. k dispozici slunečná terasa.

Contro: Vše v pořádku

Great Apartment

Pro: The Location was perfect, very close to restaurants and a supermarket and Piazza Duomo. The host was extremely kind and responsive to texts. The bed was comfortable and the shower was a good size.

Pro: Die Wohnung hat eine super Lage mitten in der Altstadt, ideal zum erkunden. Der Preis ist sehr gut und die Wohnung ist mit Allem ausgestattet was mensch so braucht.

Like staying at your nonna

Pro: This felt straight away like staying at your Sicillian nonna - a charming apartment just off the Siracusa/Ortigia's high street with everything you need for a day or week in the city. Comfy master bedroom, spacious kitchen/dining area, extra living room I did not really use, private open terrace and a sufficient bathroom. Coop supermarket (open 7 days a week) literally 5 meters away, most of other Ortigia's sights within 10 min walking distance.

Contro: During the winter (January), the apartment might get cold, but that's to be expected. There are two A/C units with heat pumps to get the rooms to your desired comfort.

Pro: Charmante maison proche des lieux à visiter et de la plage avec tout ce qu'il faut pour passer un bon séjour. La propriétaire, Barbara, nous a fourni toutes les informations dont nous avions besoin par whatsapp, ce qui s'implifie les échanges.

Pro: Great location (centrally located between the water, restaurants, main piazzas, and the stazione), safe, relatively quiet, with the basic amenities (bonus was the washing machine and terrace to dry things). Barbara was responsive, great with food recommendations, as well as being flexible with check-out times. The living room is quite spacious for groups though I myself didn't spend too much time in the unit.

Contro: A few callouts as, while these did not bother me at all, may be issues as you'll see in the other reviews: stairs into unit is indeed narrow for those with large luggage, the bathroom will be tiny for taller/larger folks, those who need absolute silence and darkness may find the shade into the bedroom insufficient and the potential sounds from the restaurant below a bother (but this is Italy and so you'll always have the sounds of the street wherever you go unless you're in the countryside!). I had to ask a bunch of questions as I checked-in like where things are located/Wifi/etc. so a check-in guide may have smoothed things over but overall this place is still quite a steal and I'd highly recommend it for solos/couples travelling for pleasure and not business.
