La Gorgone Ortigia Suites

Pro: posizione, terrazza stupenda, facilità del ceck in. macchina del caffè, presente tutto il necessario per cucinare e soggiornare

Contro: ho fatto volentieri la raccolta differenziata, ma non mi è piaciuto l’obbligo di buttare l’immondizia a fine soggiorno.

A lovely stay in Ortigia - and very well-located!

Pro: The property was lovely and tastefully decorated. It was comfortable and clean, and the location was fabulous.

Contro: The staircase was very narrow, which made it difficult to manoeuvre our suitcases, and the internal doors and shutters were sometimes quite difficult to secure and lock.

Ortigia was a wonderful place for a relaxing holiday; the apartment location is perfect and we enjoyed the restaurants v

Pro: Excellent bed, air conditioner and bathroom. Terrace is fabulous. All facilities provided were great.

Contro: Needed to be careful on the spiral staircase!

Pro: The location was superb as we were only a short walk to all the tourist areas and nightlife. The room was newly renovated and superbly designed with a spectacular bath in the bedroom. Was also well supplied with all cooking facilities and a washing machine/dryer. Hosts were very friendly and helpful

Contro: Nothing not to like.

Nicely appointed apartment and excellent location with sea/port views and in the old town

Pro: Very well equipped apartment and the location was brilliant

Contro: The stairs were a challenge for us

Pro: Tolle Lage, grandiose Dachterrasse mit herrlichem Blick. Gut ausgestattet und sauber. Problemloses Einchecken, alles, was man braucht, gleich um die Ecke.

Contro: Die Treppen zum Studio im zweiten Stock sind eng und steil, das sollte man bei der Buchung beachten.

Lovely stay

Pro: Excellent location, beautiful top deck and great communication with host. Loved having a washer and the welcoming bottle of wine and cookies were a lovely touch.

Contro: The stairs to get to the unit were challenging especially with luggage. Someone with mobility issues wouldn’t do well here. It was also quite noisy in the early mornings with garbage trucks, etc.

Great base in ortigia- a spot you can’t miss!

Pro: There was so much space to really feel at home! Great location in a city where it’s easy to get turned around and it was so easy to unload and load our bags and then park across the bridge in Siracusa where there’s plenty of free parking! Kitchen had everything we needed as well!

Contro: I wish the curtains had been blackout because it was very bright at night. Grateful I had an eye mask but my husband struggled. Also wish we had been told about free parking across the bridge because we were under impression parking had to be paid and was limited but if you’re willing to walk- there’s so much!

Pro: great location. perfect for our short time in Ortigia

Contro: it was a little noisy but otherwise all was great
