Ortigia Seafront Apartment by Wonderful Italy

Pro: Bella vista, posizione molto comoda, abbastanza pulito. Camere grandi e spaziose

Contro: Mobili usurati, nessuna possibilità di parcheggio vicino, la doccia di uno dei due bagni non scaricava bene. L’appartamento è arredato con solo il minimo indispensabile. per il check out ci hanno chiesto a che ora saremmo partiti perché qualcuno sarebbe venuto a ritirare le chiavi di persona. Abbiamo aspettato più di mezz’ora che qualcuno arrivasse, telefonato e contattato wonderful italy più volte. Alla fine ce ne siamo andati lasciando le chiavi nell’appartamento. Nessuno ci ha più contattato.

Bella esperienza.

Pro: Casa molto bella e ampia. Tre stanze, due bagni, sala molto grande con vista spettacolare sulla baia. Zona tranquilla pur essendo centralissima. Spiaggetta davanti a casa nel caso non ci si voglia spostare. TV grande (mai accesa) e internet via wifi. Lavanderia separata con lavatrice. Sicuramente non a buon mercato per una famiglia, ma per un gruppo di amici dividendo le spese ne è valsa davvero la pena. Di mattino presto delle albe bellissime e di sera uno spettacolo la luna riflessa sulla baia. Dovessi tornare in gruppo la riprenderei di sicuro.

Contro: In linea di massima è andato tutto molto bene. Unica pecca la doccia di uno dei due bagni non scaricava a dovere. Sarebbe stato utile avere a disposizione uno sturalavandini. Altra piccola miglioria la gestione centralizzata dell'aria condizionata in quanto una delle tre stanze, la più piccola, era molto più fredda delle altre due. Ma a parte questo la casa era perfetta.

An enjoyable stay in a beautiful part of Sicily.

Pro: Spacious property, excellent views, set in a beautiful part of Sicily.

Contro: We knew that the apartment was on the 3rd floor but the lift didn’t always work during our stay. The sheet on one of the beds was stained with faeces and would have been clearly seen by the person who made up the bed. Staff were not easy to get hold of in a timely manner when we had queries e.g getting sheets changed for clean ones. Limited pots and pans in the kitchen which were of poor quality and stained. There was no where to park our rental car and there was limited information about parking before we arrived, if we knew that it would take two hours to find a parking space that was nowhere near the apartment before we booked, we wouldn’t have hired a car and used taxis during our stay instead. We google earthed the area before arriving and it looked like there was somewhere to park outside the apartment, but we didn’t know that the spaces were for residents only until we got there and was informed by staff that we couldn’t park there. This type of information would have been very useful at the time of booking our stay.

Pro: Location was superb . Nice comfortable beds and living area Staff from wonderful Italy were pleasant to deal with

Contro: We were only given one set of Kees between 4 of us You have to use the door keys to keep the air conditioning on!if one person goes out with keys every one inside has no aircon! No outside furniture for the balcony. It would have been nice to have a few lounging chairs and a sunshade Had to request another set of keys and pay a deposit of 50 euros for a 2nd set of keys……still awaiting my deposit back after 2 days Tv is not a smart tv . One channel is all we could get! 1 dishwasher tablet for week 1 washing machine tablet for week Parking is a big problem in Ortigia We had a 90 year old with us and found this rather difficult She has a wheelchair pass so eventually after speaking with the police we were allowed to park on Island and email them every night with a photograph of where we parked

Pro: Super well located with amazing views across the sea to the castle, and a little beach 2 minutes walk away

Contro: If you are driving pretty hard to park anywhere near- there is a paid parking in Ortygia, but no place when we arrived as we hadn't reserved

Great location. Plenty of space for a family. Will definitely go back.

Pro: The location was amazing. The apartment was located on the sea front, providing beautiful views of the sea.

Contro: The Sony Bravia TV was not a smart tv which therefore does not give you access to Netflix etc.

Wonderful location

Pro: The location is excellent. Wonderful view. In the heart of Ortigia with wide selection of restaurants and shops ,so much to do.Nice little beach 2 minute walk from apartment.

Contro: Wonderful Italy staff were not friendly or helpful and totally inflexible about key pickup times when we arrived earlier than expected in Ortigia. The staff member who received us appeared not to be familiar with Ortigia and was unable to provide us with directions. There was also no toilet paper in the apt. when we arrived. Once we alerted Wonderful Italy to the fact, they delivered it several hours later after we had to go out to the store to buy some. The furnishings (bed, couch, table, chairs) are the bare minimum. No kitchen basics provided, such as oil, salt, etc. Only minimal (insufficient) dishwater and laundry detergent were provided.

Heerlijk appartement in Ortigia.

Pro: De ligging van het appartement is perfect. Alles op Ortigia is super goed bereikbaar. Het Balkon ligt ‘s morgens in de zon.

Contro: Sanitair gedateerd en communicatie met Wonderfull Italy stug en erg formeel

Es war wunderbar.

Pro: Großzügig, alles funktioniert, bequeme große Betten, super Blich v. den Balkonen, gut angeschlossen, sogar mit Bushalt praktisch v. d. Tür
