Beautiful villa with great amenities, but a bit tight for 11 guests
Pro: The villa is beautiful, very well-maintained, and has excellent outdoor facilities. We really enjoyed the swimming pool, outdoor showers, trampoline, foosball, and ping-pong table. There is also plenty of parking space for several cars. The house features 4 lovely double bedrooms, each with its own en-suite bathroom, which was very convenient. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you might need, including a microwave, blender, coffee maker, and even essentials like oil and salt. A special mention to the staff: the person in charge was very kind and helpful, providing great service throughout our stay. Using the heat pumps in each room also kept the house comfortably warm during our winter visit.
Contro: There are a few important details that weren't clear on the listing: - Capacity for 11 people: The interior layout is not ideal for 11 guests. There are only 4 double bedrooms; the other 3 people have to sleep in the living room on a double and a single sofa bed. Also, the indoor dining table is too small and doesn't have enough chairs for 11 people to sit together. - Hidden costs: The listing states the heated pool is included, but in reality, there is an extra charge of 250 euros to use it. - Hot water/Heating: In winter, the boiler alone isn't enough to provide both heating and hot water for 11 showers, so we had to rely on the AC units for warmth.

Pro: Beautiful house! was well equipped and very clean, has a spacious and comfortable pool and outdoor area which included outdoor games, a great outdoor kitchen and BBQ area. Perfect for family’s with children. The house is also a couple of minutes walk away from a great beach. Lorena was very helpful making our stay very comfortable and easy. Thank you to Lorena for the great hospitality.

Fabulous villa in a stunning location which is a great base for visiting the south / south-east of Sicily
Pro: The villa is beautiful, exactly as advertised and more. Extremely well equipped, spotlessly clean and beds etc very comfortable. The outside space surprised us as so much more than we’d expected. As adults we had so much fun with the football table / table-tennis / pool etc. Kids would have adored it. We had a fabulous holiday, myself, my husband and our two adult children and their partners. We used it as a base to visit the south / south-east of the island. Great little traditional deli about 15min walk along the beach, amazing food to take-away. Beaches and sea absolutely stunning
Contro: The location is probably the one thing that wasn’t quite perfect as nowhere within walking distance to eat out. We stayed mid September so a few Lidos with restaurant about 30min walk but these were closed at night due to the time of year. It certainly didn’t ruin our holiday as we either bought food in to cook on the brilliant bbq or ate our main meal before we left the towns we visited and just had salad / cheese / bread etc later in the day. So it’s definitely workable as long as you plan ahead. A few restaurants nearby within a 10-15min walk and I’d have scored it a 10.

Villa Gemma was everything that was advertized and more. Inside was amazing and the outside was spectacular!
Pro: The property was very clean and worked perfectly for our group of 9. The owner and support team quickly responded to any questions and needs that we had. Awesome place!
Contro: There were no negatives. Only suggestion would be for an outside heater during the winter months.

Great stay to relax.
Pro: We choose the villa to be near to the beach, to relax and to visit places nearby - like Marzamemi, Ragusa etc. Even though it was the end of April and the sea water was still cool, we did swim there:))) And the pool, it was the number one why we choose this villa. The children spend there so much time. The second reason why we choose this villa, was the outdoor kitcen area - it exceeded our expectations. During our 4-night stay we did have dinner outside only two times. At start we thought, that we make a great dinner only one time. But we enjoyed making breakfast, lunch and dinner so much that we keep driving to the local store and by some local food for every day:)

Great house to stay at with friends to relax and enjoy Sicily!
Pro: We were met the property manager who provided the keys and a quick introduction to the property. Lory showed us everything about the pool, kitchen, property, wifi, etc.. It was really a very easy process.
Contro: The weather. Though to be fair we traveled in November, that is our fault. However, the pool was heated. Bonus!

fantastic villa
Pro: A fantastic week at Villa Gemma, which is fully stocked with everything you need (and more!). Location was great with a car, lovely beaches just a stones throw away. And the villa is so spacious and perfect in every way - there is nothing to criticise. The outdoor space and swimming pool are fantastic. And the contact and check in was so simple. Thank you for a lovely stay, we will be back!
