Villa Colapesce

Pro: Il posto è un'oasi di pace e un buon punto di inizio per esplorare la parte est della Sicilia, villa dotata di tutti i comfort e veramente bella, i proprietari delle persone splendide la signora Oriana è rimasta in contatto con noi quasi ogni giorno senza essere mai invadente, anzi è stato come avere un'amica a disposizione per consigli o aiuto. Grazie di tutto, vi auguriamo poter tornare presto a trovarvi!

A Beautiful stay in a beautiful villa

Pro: We were met at the Villa by the hosts and owners - Oriana and her husband. They were fantastic hosts. They gave us all the information about the Villa but also gave us some great local recommendations. The Villa itself is located in a really quiet road that leads down to the beach. Marzamemi is about a 15 to 20 minute walk along the beach and is a stunning little harbour town with lots of great restaurants. The Villa is lovely inside and out and the pool is great. We couldn't recommend the Villa enough. You will need a car if you want to do anything else but stay around the pool or chill at the beach. It's a great location to visit Noto, Ragusa and Syracuse.

Contro: Only the manic driving in Sicily - but nothing to do with the Villa.

A lovely stay nonetheless and a great base from which to explore south west Sicily.

Pro: The apartment was beautifully decorated and within easy walking distance from the beach and the little town of Marzamemi. The outdoor area was perfect for a family of six. Our hostess, Oriana, was charming and very helpful, both before we arrived and during our stay.

Contro: It would have been superb if there hadn't been workmen next door digging from 7am until late afternoon excavating a swimming pool. Sadly this meant we couldn't sit outside from Monday - Friday, which was a great shame.

Lovely villa and great host!

Pro: Very clean and comfortable villa, great host with good recommendations for places to visit. Always very responsive with any questions or issues. Vila is well equipped and the host made us feel very welcome. She was there to greet us when we arrived and show us around. It was lovely to be left a welcome pack, it meant we could relax after our journey without having to rush out. Really tastefully decorated and very clean pool. Thank you for having us.

Contro: The villa is very secluded and nearest town is not really walkable, a car is a must to shop, eat out and visit places. Cars are easy to hire from the airport. The are a few villas being built next door but one so lots if building noise and trucks. I know this can’t be helped but would have been good to be pre warned, especially as building work started very early. There are lots of cctv cameras around the property, whilst this is good from a safety perspective it did feel a little invasive at times.

A lovely clean, comfortable villa on the outskirts of an interesting village.

Pro: We were made very welcome and shown round the property. The owner sent us many links for restaurants, places to visit etc. The villa was spotless and very comfortable, the outside areas were lovely and we enjoyed the pool.

Contro: There were builders next door who created some dust but they should be finished soon

Pro: There was plenty of space , everything was really clean and it had everything you needed for cooking and cleaning etc. The pool was really nice and clean and it had a bbq . It was a really quiet area and felt very safe. Oriana, the host kept in touch all week to see if we were ok and provided clear instructions to help us with our stay.

Very relaxing family holiday! Oriana our host was so helpful and accommodating.

Pro: The villa was in a good location 25 mins walking distance along the beach to marzamemi town with lots of restaurants and also close to lovely beach clubs. It was clean and very pleasant decor, good size bedrooms and terrace and very comfortable overall.

Nice stay in Sicilia

Pro: Villa Colapesce is an outstanding property, perfect for a relaxing getaway with friends or family. The villa itself is beautifully maintained, offering a spacious and comfortable environment with all the amenities you could need, except a dishwasher, but it was not a big issue for us. A big plus was the pool, which was ideal for cooling off and enjoying the warm Sicilian weather. The property is also very secure, with cameras in place to ensure peace of mind throughout your stay. The host was incredibly welcoming and receptive, ensuring our stay was nothing short of perfect. Highly recommended.

Contro: If you're planning to explore other places in the area, it's important to note that you will need a car. The villa is somewhat secluded, making a vehicle essential for visiting nearby attractions.

A lovely relaxing break mixed with a few day trips to nearby towns.

Pro: Villa Colapesce is beautiful and has everything you will need. The pool and garden are really lovely. The owner, Oriana is very helpful and gives lots of advice about places to visit.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Villa Colapesce and would highly recommend staying there.
