Very calming and restoring vacation in Avola.

Pro: Villa Ammari is a fantastic place to visit. The hosts are very nice and helpful. You are welcomed with the wine and a basket of pleasant surprises. The house has all you would need during vacation time - from beach towels to swimming equipment. All bedrooms have separate AC. The location is also great - just next to the peaceful and quite lonely and clean sand beach outside of more crowly Avola. The water is warm and not very deep which allows great swimming experience.

Contro: Everything was perfect. One thing that might be added to the equipment of the house is a dishwasher (however more as a nice to have than a real need).

Better than the pictures

Pro: The owners have made sure that you have everything you may need during your stay, including beach towels, umbrellas, beach games, sunbeds and more. They even welcomed us with a basket of local Sicilian specialties. The water in the sea is crystal clear and perfect to swim and play games all day long. Other beaches and towns are at a short distance (car necessary).

Pro: The hosts were very gracious. They met us at the villa with an amazing welcoming basket. They were available for advice on the area. The Beach house is a great addition to the property which gives great flexibility to your stay.

Pro: Comfortable villa, very tastefully decorated. Kitchen was well equipped. Bathroom and beach towels provided as well as beach toys and umbrella. We were grateful for the exterior bathroom. The host was very friendly and helpful. Location is very good for exploring this part of Sicily.

Contro: The beach behind the villa is not very clean, a lot of trash and even syringe in the sand. We preferred Lido Agua beach which was beautiful.

Pro: beachfront, super nice house with garden and outdoor space

Contro: the beach has not been cleaned (early season) so was unfortunately very dirty

Urlaub mit Freunden am Meer

Pro: Ein Haus direkt am Strand, das macht selbst im Winter Spaß! Auch die tolle Sommerküche mit Grill und Backofen haben wir gerne genutzt. Die Wohnung ist sehr hübsch ausgestattet und die Klimaanlage/Heizung war an kühleren Abenden von Vorteil.

Contro: Wir haben öfter gekocht und hätten uns ein paar mehr Utensilien gewünscht (z.B. Schneebesen, Küchenmesser, etc.) - aber das ist jammern auf hohem Niveau :-) Das Haus liegt leider recht weit draußen, so dass man zum Einkaufen und für Restaurants immer ein Auto braucht. Das wussten wir allerdings vorher und die super Lage des Hauses direkt am Meer war uns den Aufwand wert.

Pro: Absolutely the best... we wished we could have stayed another week! Outdoor patio and access to the beach... The mix of old/new spaces, outdoor kitchen. Main villa tastefully decorated. This villa exceeded our expectations.

Contro: Nothing everything was excellant...

Das Meer mit schönem Strand direkt vor der Türe!

Pro: Die Lage und die Ausstattung ist wirklich außergewöhnlich. Wir haben sogar Pizza im Ofen gebacken. Das Beachhouse (Außenküche und Bad) ist fantastisch!

Herausragend - Syrakus, Noto, Ragusa, Vendicari, Marzamemi, … viel zu besichtigen. Cavagrande Cassibile, Cava d‘ Inspica

Pro: Direkt am Strand - neben dem Haus ein weiteres Beachhouse mit allem (Küche, Kühlschrank, Dusche/WC) - diverse Aufenthaltsoptionen außen - lange Sandbank in der Bucht (ca 50 m) gut für kids.

Contro: Nachbarhund bellt manchmal früh … (gut für einen Sunrise-Swim 😀)
