Pro: Beautiful location, the hotel is small and authentic. Italo and his team are always ready to help, recommend and have a chat. The on site breakfasts and dinners are small and intimate, we loved meeting some interesting and like minded fellow travellers. The food was home made and delicious (thank you to Amanda for the desserts) . All round an exceptional spot to enjoy Noto and surrounds.

Contro: The drive up to the top can be quite challenging with the narrow turns, especially at night.

Rejuvenating retreat with spectacular views over Noto

Pro: A delightful stay. Such a beautiful tranquil property with a wonderful host Italo and his team, including delightful Amanda to take such good care of us. We felt extremely rejuvenated after our getaway at this beautiful gem. The whole property, including the pool area, has a spectacular view over Noto.

Pro: Fabulous owner, Italo, who was always available, answered our questions, provided great recommendations in Noto and even gave us a lift into town on one occasion. The property is out of town, on a hilltop with breathtaking views of Noto and the countryside. It is secluded, with a beautiful pool. We enjoyed a delicious dinner around the pool (four courses), Italo organised a masseur to come one day. It was the most relaxing stay during our holiday in Sicily. Highly recommend.

A place you will visit and wished you could stay longer......a true Gem!

Pro: The staff was incredible. Attentive to any need, sincere, happy and always very helpful in anyway to help your stay enjoyable and memorable.

Contro: The road leading up to the property is a bit rough and bumpy. We had rented an SUV, so it was not an issue. But once, you made it to the property....you immediately forgot about the ride up!

Views of Noto from an infinity pool

Pro: We loved staying up in the hills above Noto. It was very peaceful, with lovely grounds and amazing views over Noto and beyond.

Contro: Nothing - but people should be aware that there's quite a drive up the hill and around switchbacks. It's worth it!

relaxing & detailed oriented luxury experience

Pro: the location, the architecture, interiors, the owner, the services, everything was lovely

Contro: nothing, it was super.

A idyllic and relaxing vision of the Sicilian countryside made real.

Pro: The hotel was set on a beautiful, protected hillside with olive groves and other local produce such as lemons, oranges and almonds- proudly grown by the owner. The mix of plants and trees provided an incredible aroma that greeted you whenever you went outside to enjoy the grounds. This m was just one small detail in a property that was full of pleasant surprises. The pictures on booking are fully representative of the experience and the owner was helpful, attentive and friendly with some interesting stories of Sicilian history and helpful recommendations.

Contro: Unfortunately, and I stress this was no issue with the property itself, the road access that is maintained by the local government is far from ideal, however if you are familiar with the economic situation of rural Sicily it is to be expected.
