Peaceful with beautiful surroundings
Pro: The host was excellent, very friendly and responsive to messages. The house is nice with peaceful surroundings, includes everything you might need. Everything was clean. Hot tub is a nice plus, water temperature can be changed to your liking. Great for relaxing after a day out
Contro: The beds were not very comfortable and furniture is outdated but functional

Sicily week stay
Pro: I have been using booking.com for several years, doing holidays reservation few times a year... which means I've done over 20, ot maybe even 30... just sometimes giving 10-out-of-10. This time, I just regret I cannot go out of scale, because the true care of the houselord is unmeasureable, it is not 11... it would be somewhere around 999, as he voluontairly helped us a lot showhowing big heart and understanding in a difficult situation we've faced (due to external reasons), still bring gentle and respecting us (as a family group) a lot. He is the LANDLORD and a very good man. The whole stay was very nice! And the whole house is exactly as shown on the pictures - very nicely finished, with everything you can need. Thank you

Lovely authentic Sicilian farm house on a wild block in a country lane yet close to the lively town
Pro: The house is built on the authentic farm house way. Rustic beams and and stone blocks make the structure of the home. Whilst a newish build it oozes character and charm. It’s decorated in a tasteful Sicilian way for an authentic farmhouse stay. Set on a large wild block, with laden walnut and fruit trees the home is a welcome relief form the built up area. Palazzolo is a great base for visiting Patalica archeological site which is mesmerising.

Strongly recommend Villa Neli
Pro: The house is next to the town of Palazzolo Acreide in calm and quite area. The main road to Siracusa is reachable very easily through the local road. The house is fully independent, comfortable and has everything needed for a holiday stay.. The host was extremely kind and responsive. We felt as we are in our own house. Excellent place for family holiday.

Schönes Haus in grüner Umgebung
Pro: schönes Haus, große Terrassen, Umgebung mit viel Grün
Contro: Das Haus war für uns sehr schwer zu finden, weil es keinen Straßennamen oder ein Hinweisschild gab und wir die Koordinaten ohne WhatsApp nicht nutzen konnten. Die Autos auf der nahen Autobrücke sind deutlich zu hören. Die Ausstattung der Küche war minimal.

Pro: The house is located in a nice quiet neighborhood of Palazzolo Acriede. The owner is friendly, accessible and very helpful. Parking for two cars was adequate and easy to maneuver in and out of the property. Property is charming and large enough for a family.
Contro: The property is a bit hard to find, but the owner provided exact coordinates to find on GPS. We arrived during daylight hours, which made it easier to follow the map. Once you find it, you'll know for the rest of your stay-- put the coordinates in your google maps and you will have no problem.

Schattig goed uitgerust huisje met veel ruimte
Pro: Heel huisje, met veel vrijheid en ruimte (je kan zelf het electrisch schuifhek openen), met een hele goede prijs/kwaliteit-verhouding en aardige host, die zijn jeugd in Duitsland had gewoont, en dus perfect Duits sprak. Wij hebben dus veel in het Duits gecommuniceerd, zodat we niet allebei in een vreemde taal (Engels) bezig zijn. Van hieraf hebben wij dagtochtjes gemaakt naar Noto, Ragusa en Syracuse, allemaal op ongeveer 1 uurtje rijden. Ook verassend leuk was de archeologische site Akrai, op 5 minuten rijden, een soort klein Syracuse (voor veel minder geld en met heel veel minder toeristen).
Contro: Eigenlijk niets. Nah ja, als enigst puntje zou je kunnen zeggen, dat het jammer is, dat er een drukke weg (verhoogd viaduct) hoorbaar is in de tuin. Maar niet storend.
