Sweet little apartment.

Pro: Cute, characterful little apartment in quiet, but central, location. Lynette made us very welcome.

A few nights in the lovely historic centre of Ortigia,

Pro: Lynette was an amazing host, who went out of our way to meet us and give us everything we could possibly need. She also allowed a late checkout. The apartment is very well placed for seeing the island of Ortigia. Only five minutes from a coop supermarket, five minutes from the boat excursion point, maybe 10 minutes to centre. 15 minutes walk to the bus and train station, but we chose to take a taxi for €15 because they were three of us and three bags. Why did busy place so easy for young people to drive their bags? Not so easy for us. Don’t let any taxi driver charge more than 15 - we were ripped off when we arrived. Highly recommend staying with Lynette.

Contro: The bathroom is very compact, so if you were tall, it could be a problem. But for us no issues.

We enjoyed our stay at Casa Giulietta.

Pro: The location was perfect. Lynnette was the perfect host and accommodated our needs. we really enjoyed the uniqueness of Ortigia.

Contro: We didn’t like the shower as it was very hard to control the temperature, otherwise everything g else was fine.

Pro: Oh that place is a lovely gem in the heart of Ortiga! The location is just amazing, with a lovely host, we can't thank her enough! The apartment has everything you might need for your stay. And it is bigger than the photos show it to be. Although it's in the center and everything is just a few minutes walk away, it's located at a lovely little street which is quiet and secluded. Also just a few minutes aways from the sea. We just loved it!

Heart of Ortigia

Pro: Very good location with kind/helpful owners who live above. Kitchen is equipped for basic cooking and the bed is comfortable. Importantly, you're right in the heart of Ortigia which is a magical place.

Contro: Bathroom entrance is challenging to a tall person but you adapt.
