Charming Minimalist Apartment in Perfect Spot (Just Needs a Few Upgrades)

Pro: Excellent location – Quiet, away from traffic, yet right in the heart of Ortigia. Great host – Very cooperative and responsive. Modern & stylish – Loved the minimalist design and nice artwork that gave the apartment warmth.

Contro: Furniture quality – The sofa bed in the living room and bed in the bedroom felt cheap (equivalent to IKEA) and wobbled. Since we were only two guests, we didn’t need the extra bed, but the seating in living room wasn’t comfortable due to insufficient pillows. Shower issues – The open-sided shower design floods floor tiles (no squeegee to clean up). The showerhead is worn out—parts came off in our hands! Old towels – Threadbare with frayed edges; clearly overdue for replacement. Despite these flaws, I’d still recommend this place—the pros outweigh the cons!

Excellent room and perfect location

Pro: Very comfortable apartment with a nice bed and kitchen. The location in the center of Ortigia is perfect. It’s on a quiet street but just a 1 minute walk to the Piazza Duomo and the Fountain of Diana. A 1 minute walk to restaurants and a supermarket. It’s perfect. It’s very easy to make contact with the owner if necessary.
