Terrazza sul mare attico "Alfeo e Aretusa"

Pro: Appartamento, in pieno centro a due passi da piazza duomo e dalle principali attrazioni turistiche, molto grazioso e con una splendida terrazza panoramica. Struttura pulita e con tutto il necessario per un piacevole soggiorno.

Pro: Tutto perfetto: posizione, vista dalla terrazza, pulizia impeccabile, luminosità, arredamento per nulla banale (molto bello il bagno rifatto da poco), simpatia dei proprietari!

Pro: L’appartamento ha un terrazzo con una vista fantastica, molto tranquillo e rilassante. Massimo è stato sempre gentilissimo.

A rooftop suntrap.

Pro: The host is very nice.Thank you. The bathroom was spotless. We were warm and it was quiet. The bed was hard and the pillow was soft, the Wi-Fi was poor. BUT the terrace overlooking the bay is why we chose the apartment, and it was lovely to sit outside looking at the water and the sunset. Good value.

We had a wonderful stay and will return in the future.

Pro: Upon arrival the owner met us at the door and took us to the apartment to show us around. We were self catering and there was everything that we needed. The apartment was spotless, we loved the large balcony overlooking the sea, the view was amazing and we sat out there every night before and after going out for dinner. The owners were lovely and gave us advice for the best places to go for dinner etc.

Contro: There were a lot of stairs leading up to the apartment as it is in the attic. The view is definitely worth the climb but not suitable for someone with mobility issues.

Fabulous and authentic Sicilian stay.

Pro: The size and view of the private terrace was a wonderful surprise! Unbeatable views. Great atmosphere, host super nice despite some language barrier which only added to the experience.

Contro: Definitely avoid if you have some mobility issues. I recommend to travel lightly. There are lots of stairs to reach this apartment which is perched under the roof, but be assured it’s absolutely worth it.

On top of the world in Ortigia

Pro: The location and the view cannot be beaten! This is the sea and sunset view people pay to go on boat trips to witness every night. The terrace is so huge it's basically another room. The apartment itself is decorated charmingly and was spotlessly clean. The owner was very helpful and present whenever needed. Surely one of the most magical and special places to stay in Ortigia.

Contro: The price you pay for that view is a long climb of over 70 steps, no lift. So just be aware if you have mobility issues. It's also much more like a traditional Airbnb or b&b where you are living in an annex of a private home whose residents are there. We love this sort of thing but if you are used to impersonal rentals or hotels, it might be a surprise.

Pro: Gorgeous artsy apartment with stunning view from roof terrace over the waterfront. Extremely glad we followed the recommendations from previous reviews. Ideal location to walk to sights. Wish we could have only stayed longer.

Contro: Be aware it's 76 steps up Also it's directly above owners apartment with a shared entrance ( though apartment then has its own lockable entrance so it is secure)

Wonderful stay in an excellent location, very comfortable , the terrace is stunning and the owner very helpful.

Pro: Excellent property in a good location, comfortable bed, and a wonderful terrace with fantastic views. The owner was very friendly and helpful, it was a pleasure to stay there and I would highly recommend.

Contro: As this is self catering, the property would benefit from a toaster and a kettle, and a fish slice for cooking. As a note the property is advertised as having 2 beds but there is only 1.
