Domus Sbirciò Modica

Amazing! Non vedo l'ora di tornare. Domus Sbirciò consigliatissima!.

Pro: La casa è molto accogliente, in ottime condizioni e con tutti i comfort. Ha due camere matrimoniali, ciascuna con bagno privato, ideale per la privacy. Inoltre vi è una zona relax con divano e televisione. La cucina è bella e spaziosa. Il terrazzino è meraviglioso ove puoi fare colazione e pranzare godendoti il sole della Sicilia! Arredata e ristrutturata con molto gusto e sobrietà. Ubicata in zona centrale ma silenziosa. Molto comoda per servizi e ristoranti.

Contro: Nulla

Pro: mi è piaciuto il fatto che ogni camera aveva il proprio bagno vicino (doccia top!) la zona lavanderia è stata molto utile

Contro: presenza massiccia dei piccioni sulla terrazza e sul balcone

Nice flat, cleaning should be improved

Pro: Two separated bedrooms and bathrooms. Good kitchen with oven and stove. Heating available in every room. Good location in the middle of modica. Would have been a awesome stay, if not for the negatives.

Contro: Dead cockroach in the small bathroom on the floor when we arrived. And some insect cocoons on the mattress (and as well under the mattress) in the small room. According to the local contact the room was cleaned at the same day, but this can't be true. Nobody can't see a 5cm dead cockroach on the floor. The flat and the whole city is very wet in December/January. Rooms and beds were wet. Heating could have been turned on some days before to prevent this. Luckily there was a air drier in the cellar, so we dried the flat over the week. Parking limited and roughly 60 stair steps up to the flat. But that's the charme of the city.

Very nice stay with some minor observations

Pro: Good value with lots of space for the guests and also extremely convenient location.

Contro: The property needs some general maintenance (lights missing, the shower leaks under the sink) and I strongly suggest they change things like bed covers and curtains.

Pro: We had an extended stay and found Modica to be a great base to explore the region . The property is light filled , with great views of the town , modern and well located . A few flight of steps from the Main Street but quiet at night . We found free parking near the Deco supermarket and used the provided trolley to bring home provisions to cook . Eating out highlights were Radici , pizza in the lane way at La contea listening to live music at Bar Hemingway. Sofia was always responsive to any issues . Real old town experience with back lanes and views of the clock tower , Sicilian relatives even impressed !

Pro: Great location and very spacious. Everything was very clean and made us feel at home.

Pro: Tolles Haus! Sehr schön renoviert und ausgestattet. Mit viel Charme, alten Böden, moderner Küche und moderne Bäder, sehr bequeme Betten. Dicke Bettdecken, tolle Terrasse, sogar mit Sofa. Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt!

Contro: Etwas umständlich zu buchen (bei Check in muss Kreditkarte hinterlegt werden), bei Anreise hätte man vergessen uns die Zugangsdaten zu schicken. Nach einem Anruf wurde aber sehr schnell reagiert und dann war alles wirklich prima!

Pro: - inrichting van het appartement: warme sfeer, praktisch, mooie afwerking, karaktervol, authentiek en modern, houten elementen, badkamers!, ... - ligging: rust, uitzicht uit zithoek en badkamer - netheid: alles - licht en ruimtegevoel: groot, nette witte muren, hoge plafonds - terrasje met tafeltje, stoelen en zetel (wel geen uitzicht) - ...

Contro: - 1 slaapkamer blijft kil: bed ligt in een omkadering van steen, het verwarmingselement hangt te hoog en te ver van het bed en is niet sterk genoeg om de volledige (gigantische).ruimte op te warmen (begin maart) - geen keukenhanddoek aanwezig (detail!), enkel een vaatdoek - heel veel trappen te doen maar hoort bij het stadje

Pro: Die Wohnung ist sehr geräumig und sauber. Die Lage ist perfekt, ruhig und sehr zentral. Allerdings sollte man wegen der vielen Treppen gut zu Fuß sein. Das gilt aber eigentlich für die ganze Stadt. Sofia war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Ravissante petite maison privative hyper déco et confortable

Pro: L’emplacement , très au calme, la déco, le confort des lits , nous aurions aimé y rester beaucoup plus 🙌🏻
