Aguglia Persa - Double Room

Pro: La struttura è una realtà magnifica per chi ama la natura e la campagna. Un’oasi in totale relax, un luogo dove staccare la spina dal caos cittadino . L’accoglienza è stata eccezionale, siamo stati accolti da Birgitta, persona meravigliosa, e dai suoi tre meravigliosi cagnolini ed un gatto, che sono entrati subito nel nostro cuore. È come sentirsi a casa. La struttura ha tutti i comfort per un soggiorno tranquillo e rilassante a contatto con la natura. Situata a pochi chilometri dai vari punti d’interesse. Noi ci ritorneremo presto sicuramente.

Scandinavian home under the Sicilian sun

Pro: Birgitta is such a lovely and caring host. The whole space is like a piece of Scandinavia in the Sicilian sun, with Birgitta making the experience feel cosy and truly at home. Spaces are clean and very spacious, the kitchen is well stocked with modern appliances. The bedroom and bedding are large, fresh, northern European and very comfortable. No clammy thin Italian sheets and wonky mattresses, these are beds you can build a nest in and snooze away. If you want to get away from the busy Sicilian streets, spend your morning with a coffee in the sun and listen to the birds with a trusty old dog at your feet, book here.

Contro: The location is somewhat off-grid in the peace and quietness of the sicilian countryside. For us, this was a massive plus, but it does require guests to have a car and drive a short distance to a restaurant or shop. The only thing within walking distance is nature and views.

Pro: A magical stay in the Sicilian countryside We had a truly wonderful stay at Aguglia Persa. The property is a beautifully restored traditional Sicilian baglio in Noto area, surrounded by nature and full of charm. It’s the perfect place if you’re looking for peace, nature, and authenticity. Our room was very clean, comfortable, and full of lovely details, with our own private outdoor space to relax. Birgitta, our host, was incredibly kind and welcoming. She gave us great tips on places to visit and eat, and even let us use the barbecue and pick fresh fruit and berries from the garden – such a special touch! The location is perfect for exploring the area – just a short drive from Noto, Vendicari and other beautiful spots. We loved every moment and can’t wait to come back. Highly recommended for anyone looking for an authentic and peaceful Sicilian escape!
